Earthy Feathers is a collection that draws inspiration from the gentleness, lightness, and ease of feathers. I see a parallel between my life and feathers as they show me the way I want to live.

There are three main themes in this collection:

Freedom: Feathers symbolize the freedom to express myself. When they fall from a bird, they are a gift wherever they land.

Lightness: Feathers invite me to travel light, do less and simply be. They show me how to simplify my life.

Grounded: The earthy tones of the collection keep me grounded in my art practice and life.

Graceful Gentleness

  • Graceful Gentleness captures the essence of a delicate yet powerful energy. The title reflects the quiet strength found in subtle beauty, much like the feather in this painting. It evokes a sense of calm, softness, and fluidity. The feather, floating gently within the ethereal background, becomes a symbol of this refined energy—an effortless movement, soft yet undeniable in its presence.

    As a lover of watercolor softness, I wanted to bring that delicate flow to the canvas while connecting with my passion for acrylics. The light, airy approach represents letting go, a sense of freedom in expression. To complement this softness, I found balance by incorporating more detailed elements into the work, creating contrast and depth. This combination allows both fluidity and structure to coexist harmoniously, bringing out the essence of the piece.

Inner Knowing

  • This feather proudly sits on the canvas, as if it knows its path. It is proud, and it knows its value. As the music piece that inspired this painting says:

    "You don’t need doubt
    Because you already know
    The confusion is saying
    ‘I don’t know’
    But the minute you are quiet
    You find out that in truth, you do know."

    For in you, you know
    Plane after plane will open to you
    I want to know who I really am."

    Music piece that inspired this painting: Sit Around the Fire by Jon Hopkins, Ram Dass, and East Forest. I meditated with this music so much, and these words became the intention with which I painted—feeling into that inner knowing we all carry within us, our inner guide.

Feathers of Love: A Heart in Flight

  • Love is the beautiful harmony that emerges when two individuals come together, yet remain true to themselves. It’s about empowering one another to reach their fullest potential, supporting each other’s growth, and becoming the best versions of themselves.

    From the very beginning, I knew these two canvases would center around love, with the intention of displaying them together as one unified piece. However, this vision evolved with each brushstroke. Initially, it was a mystery even to me, but as I continued to paint, the deeper meaning unfolded organically.

    In these paintings, you’ll notice a rich tapestry of colors, with red and green taking center stage.

    I wanted to honor both the feminine and masculine energies within this work, which are reflected in the shape, color, and composition of the feathers. To me, these feathers represent the delicate dance of balance, where individuality is celebrated, yet unity thrives.

    At our core, we are at our most beautiful when we can fully express ourselves in a loving relationship, where love becomes the foundation for growth, authenticity, and deep connection.
